Do you deliver porta potties to job sites near the BMW plant and Inland Port Greer?
Job site porta potties go to contractor sites around the BMW plant and Inland Port Greer. BMW employs about 11,000 people in Spartanburg County. Inland Port Greer finished a $55 million expansion in March 2025. Industrial sites like these need gate and laydown-yard details before delivery.
Industrial sites around Greer run on strict access rules. Before delivery, send dispatch these details:
- GateThe gate name or number, and who meets the driver.
- SpotThe exact laydown yard or trailer area for the unit.
- Service dayThe weekday that works best for the weekly visit.
- Crew countSo the unit count meets OSHA 29 CFR 1926.51.
The Inland Port Greer expansion added about 9,000 feet of rail and raised container-yard capacity by 50%. Rail and paving crews on jobs like that move often. Tell dispatch when the work zone shifts so the next service visit finds the unit. See how counts work on our OSHA porta potty requirements page.
Which side of the county line is my Greer job site on, and does it matter?
Greer sits in 2 counties, Greenville and Spartanburg. Both sides get the same delivery and weekly service schedule from us. The county line matters only for permits. Building and event permits follow the city or county that covers the address, so check your plat before you apply.
Your rental works the same on either side of the line, but the paperwork does not. Use this table to find the right office.
| Your project | Who to ask |
|---|---|
| Event in a Greer city park, or a street rental | Greer Parks, Recreation & Tourism, City Hall, 301 E. Poinsett St, 864-848-2150 |
| Building outside city limits, Spartanburg County side | Spartanburg County Building Codes |
| Building outside city limits, Greenville County side | Greenville County Building Safety |
| Anything in the SC 14 or SC 290 right-of-way | SCDOT encroachment permit |
Our drivers keep units on private property, so most renters never need the last row.
How many porta potties do I need for an event at Greer City Park?
A 4-hour event at Greer City Park needs 1 standard porta potty for every 50 guests by our planning method. Add at least 1 wheelchair-accessible unit for a public crowd, since ADA standards call for 5% of units to be accessible. Check park rules with Greer Parks, Recreation & Tourism first.
Greer City Park has an amphitheater, and the city runs events like Freedom Blast and Greer Goes Global, listed on the city events page. Big city festivals bring their own restroom plans. Our units serve the smaller gatherings: church picnics, reunions and team parties.
Worked example: a 120-guest reunion running 6 hours needs 3 standard units, because 120 รท 40 = 3. Add 1 wheelchair-accessible unit for a public crowd. If food is served, add 2 hand wash stations for the 4 toilets.
Park events often need the unit gone quickly. We drop Friday and collect Monday, with Saturday pickup on request when routes allow. Run your own numbers with the porta potty calculator.

Porta potty questions from Greer renters
Can you service job sites in Greer and Duncan on one account?
One account can cover units at several Greer and Duncan sites. Each site gets its own delivery line and its own weekly service day. You receive one invoice for each 28-day cycle, and each site is picked up when you call to end that job.
What's your monthly price for a job site toilet in Greer?
A standard job site unit in Greer starts at $199 per 28-day cycle, plus delivery and SC sales tax. Weekly pumping, cleaning and restocking are included. The cycle is not prorated, so a 10-day job and a 28-day job cost the same.
Our Greer plant shutdown starts Monday. How far ahead should I call?
Call by the Friday before a Monday shutdown start. Units can be dropped on Saturday so they are in place before the crew arrives, since there are no Sunday deliveries. A Monday call before noon still gets same-day delivery by 7 PM.
We rented the pavilion at Greer City Park. Can you pick the unit up Saturday?
Saturday pickup can be requested, and dispatch confirms it when routes allow. The normal schedule for a Saturday event is a Friday drop and a Monday pickup. Pickups run during business hours, from 7 AM to 7 PM, not late at night.
