What five things set the price of a porta potty rental?

Five things set a porta potty rental price: the delivery location, the unit type, the rental dates, the service schedule and the number of units. A standard unit inside Spartanburg County, booked a few days ahead, with weekly service, costs the least. Rush orders and long drives cost more.

  1. LocationYour address sets the delivery line. Sites inside Spartanburg County cost less to reach than Union or Greenville.
  2. Unit typeStandard units cost least. Accessible, flushing units and trailers take more truck space and supplies.
  3. DatesSame-day orders may add a rush fee. Graduation weekends and the Fourth of July book out first.
  4. Service and quantityExtra weekly visits add a line. More units on one delivery share the trip.

What does an itemized porta potty quote include?

An itemized porta potty quote from Wayne Rental Works lists 6 lines: the unit rental, the rental length, the service schedule, delivery, pickup, and sales tax. Any rush fee or extra service visit gets its own line. You see the total before you give a card number, and nothing is added later without a call.

Hypothetical example: a backyard graduation party for 60 guests on a Saturday. The quote shows 2 standard event units, delivered Friday and picked up Monday, delivery and pickup included, plus sales tax. Adding a hand wash station adds one more line.

Why is a 3-day job priced the same as 28 days?

A job site porta potty is priced per 28-day cycle because the cost is mostly the delivery, the pickup and holding a weekly service slot. Keeping the unit 3 days or 28 days costs the truck about the same. That is why a short roofing job pays one full cycle.

For a single weekend, the event rental is usually cheaper, because it skips weekly service.

How can I lower the cost of renting a porta potty?

The 4 easiest ways to lower a porta potty rental cost are booking 2 or more business days ahead, ordering the right count, choosing a standard unit with a hand wash station instead of extra deluxe units, and grouping units on one delivery. Each one removes a fee or a truck trip.

  • Book ahead to avoid the same-day rush fee.
  • Size it right with the porta potty calculator. One extra unit costs less than an overflowing one.
  • Make the spot easy to reach. A unit the driver cannot place may mean a second trip.
  • Send a tax-exempt certificate if you are a church, school or nonprofit.

What other fees can appear on a porta potty bill?

Four other fees can appear on a porta potty bill, and each one is explained before it is charged. A trip fee applies if the driver cannot place the unit. A move fee covers relocating a unit on the same site. Extra service visits are charged per visit. Damage, fire or vandalism is billed at repair cost.

Porta potty pricing questions

Is the porta potty price per day or for the whole rental?

Our prices cover the whole rental, not each day. An event price covers one event, including a Friday-to-Monday weekend. A job site price covers one 28-day cycle with weekly service.

Is that price for each unit or for all of them?

Each starting price is for one unit. Two units on the same delivery share one trip, so the delivery line does not double the way the unit line does.

Why did I find a cheaper price online?

Online prices often leave out delivery, pickup, fuel, tax or a card fee, or they come from a broker who sends the job to someone else. Compare the out-the-door total. Our quote shows every line before you pay.

Do you charge a card fee or a fuel fee?

Wayne Rental Works does not add a separate card fee or fuel surcharge. Delivery distance is already priced into the delivery line.

Will the price go up if I book later?

Your price is locked once you book. Prices can change between seasons, and same-day orders may add a rush fee, so booking a few days ahead saves the most.

Is the first 28 days more expensive than later cycles?

The first cycle carries the delivery charge. Later cycles are billed at the cycle rate only, and the final pickup is billed once at the end.
